Just a Quick News Post
This week I decided to make this a Make Money Online (MMO) blog so I applied and got accepted to be included in the next www.45n5.com update of MMO blogs. I don’t expect to get any great ranking for now but it could be a bit of fun to compete with the other sites.
I set this site up to sell my own software which I may still do since I have the code developed. But I want to use the code myself more before I go and sell it online.
John Reese (one of the legends of Internet Marketing) has been under attack recently from the Mashable blog. I’m not sure why since I never got spammed or scammed by John over the years that I have been involved in IM. I’m not even sure how he makes his money, I think he mostly trains other Internet Marketers.
Once I read an example of the Reese Report which was filled with some good ideas but the cost was over my budget. So I don’t think he is a bad guy.
BANS, A product I am using and advertising here seems to be the subject of penalization where .info domains are used and Adsense is placed on the sites. Also, eBay partner network that the BANS product uses admitted early reporting problems with their switch from CJ.com to their own affiliate management solution.
Very soon after this they decided to partner with the Pepperjam network prompting BANS to create a custom version of the online store software to support this affiliate network.
My personal experience is that almost all my BANS income is coming from one site despite multiple installations. I wonder if this is due to reporting/tracking issues? The click data suggests that I should be getting more bids on items than I am getting.
Meanwhile I am having a summer lull in overall online affiliate income! So for fun I was searching on “how to make money from a rising oil price”
