This week has been interesting.

I changed the template and am still doing some tweaks to it. For example, I added Adsense monetization to the single page post pages today and by a coincidence, the site suddenly has a Page Rank value of 1. Well, it is a relatively new site and, still evolving.

I am supposed to include the trademark and maybe capitalize the word Google when I mention it and their associated trademarked terms, but in common with other bloggers I find this too difficult/time consuming. I hope it is OK to overlook this issue If WordPress had a simple superscript icon to click on, I would add the TM mark.

Moving on…

I have been promising a subscribe button and associated free report/eBook but this has taken longer than expected to implement. Mostly because I was working on the site template.

Today I created the subscribe button code-generator page, so I have made progress. Also, I am using mail list management software that is free but there is a pro-version which I purchased and I want to enrol in the affiliate program for this software so I can include my affiliate link in my report before I publish it.

However, there is much more to my system than just the email list software such as how to ensure great email deliverablity and get people to opt in most efficiently. And it will be in the form of an eBook like I sold for up to $25 before.

The report may be re-distributed so I want to have only one version of the report in circulation.

For the actual emails that I send out to subscribers, I am thinking to send you details of the small things that I have done to improve things on my sites or special discount offers on my product launches. So these are things that I would like to share with my members but are not suitable for blog posts.

Also, I would like to say thanks to the people that have been commenting on posts, this is great since it is a kind of new experience for me to have non-spam comments on blog posts
